Mathias receives instructions in Family, Immigration, Mental Health and General Common Law. 

His family practice covers care proceedings under Public Law and Child Arrangement Proceedings under Private Law. He also receives instructions in the Family Law Act (Non- Molestation and Occupation Orders) and Ancillary Relief Proceedings. 
 

His Immigration practise covers the representation of clients before the First-Tier and Upper Tribunals. Mathias also appears in Judicial Review proceedings before the Upper Tribunal and the Royal Courts of Justice. 
 

His Mental Health practice covers both sections 2 and 3 proceedings. 

 

Mathias has a special interest in International Law and has written articles on International Criminal Law, Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism.
